Decía Joe Strummer -tan cerca de romperse que me hizo llorar- lo siguiente:
People can change anything they want to, and that means everything in the world.

People can do anything. This is something that I'm beginning to learn. People are out there doing bad things to each other. It's because they're being dehumanized.
It's time to take the humanity back into the centre of the ring, and follow that for a time. Greed, it ain't going anywhere. They should have that in a big billboard across Time Square.
Without people you're nothing. That's my spiel.
La gente puede cambiar todo lo que quieran, y eso significa cualquier cosa en el mundo.
La gente va siguiendo su caminito, Yo soy uno de ellos. Pero hay que parar y no mirar solo nuestra pequeña huella de ratón.
La gente puede hacer cualquier cosa. Es algo que voy aprendiendo. La gente esta ahí, haciendose daño unos a otros. Nos estamos deshumanizando.
Es hora de recuperar la humanidad y llevarla al centro del "ring", y actuar así durante un tiempo. ¡La codicia no lleva a ninguna parte! Tendrían que poner eso en un gran cartel a lo largo de Times Square.
Sin la gente no somos nada. Eso es lo que pienso.
